Review Policy

Review Policy

I will review nearly anything of the YA genre and some crossover/adult novels as well. I usually say that I mainly review fantasy and historical fiction, but even if it isn't of those genres just send me the synopsis and I'll let you know if I'm interested.

I absolutely will not accept ebooks for review! No matter how much I like the sound of the book, I will not read it in ebook format. I don't believe in eReaders and can't stand long stints of reading on the computer. However, if I like the sound of your novel I will offer to promote you in other ways, I just cannot do a review.

I reserve the right to not review an unsolicited galley. If I do not plan on reading it at all, I will generally pass it on to another blogger.

Time

I go to school nearly year-round and when I'm in the middle of a term, I sometimes am only able to review one book every two weeks. That said, it may take a good while to review your novel unless you have specified a date you want it reviewed by.

Blog Tours

I love blog tours and am a proud part of Teen {Book} Scene! They organize blog tours for many authors and always do a wonderful job. They're seriously some of the most hardworking people in the YA Lit blogosphere.

I also do blog tours for publishing companies on occasion. So far, I have never missed a deadline. However, if I'm covering a review and do not receive the book in a reasonable amount of time, don't expect me to post on time. I will always try, but I can't help it if you don't give me long enough to read the book.
